Every year, Industria organizes the Education Awards ceremony. Awards will be handed out to the best lecturers of 2014-2015 in five categories: Propedeuse (First year Bachelor), Post-propedeuse (second and third year Bachelor), Innovation Management and Operations Management and Logistics. The fifth category is a new category in which upcoming talents in our faculty are nominated to win the Talent Award 2014.

During the Beta PhD Symposium 2014 the Beta PhD Prize was awarded to dr. Frank Karsten. The Beta PhD Prize is awarded to the PhD who defended the best PhD thesis of Beta during the past year. The winner receives a certificate, a Beta PhD Award plaque and a cash prize of € 500,-.
Frank Karsten received the award for his PhD thesis Resource Pooling Games.

Central Warehouse Study wins RELEX 2014 award for Best Master’s Thesis on Supply Chain Two Swedish researchers have won this year’s RELEX Supply Chain Award for research in the field.
